Dear SAERA Organising Committee,
I am writing to request your consideration for a late submission of an abstract for the SAERA 2026 conference.
Unfortunately, I only became aware of the final call for abstracts on 1 August 2026, after the 31 July deadline had closed. This was due to a lapse in my institutional communication channels, and I did not receive the call through the usual networks I monitor.
My research, which focuses on pedagogical strategies for Economics education in under-resourced South African schools, is directly relevant to the conference’s mandate and would contribute meaningfully to the dialogue on teaching and learning in our region.
I would be deeply appreciative if the committee could consider granting a brief extension to permit submission. I am committed to a rapid turnaround and can submit within 48 hours of receiving approval.
Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Nana Yaw Brenya Agyeman
